"The Youth Mental Health & Holistic Wellness Access Programme"

Antigua and Barbuda Holistic Coalition, Inc. (ABHC)

Grantee of the Mill Reef Fund

We’re proud to share that Antigua and Barbuda Holistic Coalition (ABHC) has been awarded grant funding from the Mill Reef Fund in the amount of xcd$14,300.00 to support our Youth Mental Health & Holistic Wellness Access Programme. This grant allows us to expand access to counselling, assessments, emotional-literacy programmes, and parent education—ensuring more children and families in Antigua and Barbuda receive the mental health support they deserve.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Mill Reef Fund for investing in the mental health and wellbeing of young people and families.

We are also proud to announce a donation of xcd$5,000.00 by the Citizenship by Investment Programme of Antigua and Barbuda, showing their continued commitment to uplifting youth as a valued community partner. CIU's donation helped us surpass our 2026 funding goal — and that means more access, more support, and more impact for our young people and families.

Programme Overview

The Youth Mental Health & Holistic Wellness Access Programme provides financial assistance and psychoeducation to youth and families in Antigua and Barbuda to access critical services:

• Individual/group counselling and psychotherapy

• Psychological and psychiatric evaluations (including assessments for learning disabilities and autism)

• Medication management, when clinically indicated

• Youth emotional-literacy programmes addressing anxiety, depression, impulsivity, and emotional regulation

• Parent and family education workshops focused on supporting youth mental health at

home and in the community

Anticipated Impact with Mill Reef Fund partners (2026):

• Expand access in 2026 so an additional 75 youth receive mental health services they would otherwise be unable to afford

• Deliver five (5) large-scale workshops for youth and parents/caregivers, reaching approximately 100 participants

• Reduce stigma and promote early intervention, potentially decreasing long-term reliance on crisis services and justice-system involvement

• Strengthen ABHC’s organizational capacity to deliver sustainable, holistic mental health programming nationwide

Programme Goals
  • Funding Target 2026-2027=XCD $30,000.00

  • Remaining Funding Target for 2027: XCD $10,700.00
